Description

PlayTown Suwanee is all about community! This is a 100% volunteer built playground!

We are building an amazing playground for a new generation. PlayTown will be the result of over 10,000 hours from 1000+ volunteers. This is a ONCE IN A LIFTEIME event - you'll make lifelong memories, new friends, and a lasting gift to the community. PlayTown Suwanee and the kids of Suwanee thank you!

If you are signing up as a group (family, team, coworkers, etc.) all for the identical shift, please choose "team" registration once you are on the sign-up page. Email bnaqawe@suwanee.com if you have any trouble or questions.

Water and some snacks will be provided. Morning shift will be offered coffee. We may have lunch for those finishing at lunchtime, and a light dinner for those finishing at dinner time. Please eat before you arrive.

*NOTE: The number indicated for each shift represents REMAINING shifts!

*There is a NEW Volunteer FAQ on our website:  https://www.suwanee.com/explore-suwanee/parks/playtown

  • Youth ages 11-13 may volunteer alongside their parent/guardian in the same shift (NO power tools).

  • Youth ages 14-17 may volunteer without a parent - but will need a permission form/waiver turned in at the site.

  • Wear: Comfortable, closed-toed shoes and work clothes. If you have work gloves and eye protection, please bring that if needed for your type of work. If you love your drill, bring it, too!

  • Parking: you may park at any of the public parking areas in and around Town Center, Buford Highway, and the public parking deck on Buford Highway. You can then walk under the railroad tracks using the pedestrian tunnel (between the police station and municipal court building). Please visit this site for a parking map: Suwanee Parking

  • You may sign up for multiple shifts! All volunteers must agree to the waiver (found at each shift page).
