Volunteer for Suwanee Camp Day – Help Us Keep the Fun Rolling!
Hey there, happy campers! Suwanee Camp Day is coming up on March 22nd, and we need some awesome volunteers like YOU to help make this event a smooth-sailing outdoor adventure!
Why Volunteer? Volunteering at Suwanee Camp Day is a great way to give back to your community, meet new friends, and (for you students) earn service hours!
What’s the Job? As a Games Counselor, you’ll be an essential part of the fun taking place at Suwanee Camp Day, supervising games and aiding in our various entertainment activities, including the temporary tattoo station, face painting, inflatables, and the petting zoo!
Where Do I Go? This event is in the NEW PARK (Town Center on Main)! All volunteers should meet near the restrooms in Town Center on Main. The restrooms are distinguishable by the orange/yellow privacy wall in front.
Important Info:
Check out the attached waiver. Signing up means you agree to the Volunteer Waiver terms. If you’re under 18, make sure a parent or guardian gives it a look-see.
Volunteers aged 11-13 need a parent/guardian to join them for their shift (sign up for two slots together). High schoolers (14-17) can sign up solo.
Parking: Parking will be available for volunteers around Suwanee's Town Center, including at Town Center on Main, PlayTown Suwanee, Evergreen Presbyterian Church, the Police Department, along Buford Highway, and more!
Dress Code & Prep: Dress for the great outdoors – rain or shine – and wear closed-toed shoes. A hat and sunscreen might come in handy too. Don’t worry, we’ve got water for ya!
