On Friday night, enjoy international food and retail vendors along with dozens of cultural performances, highlighting Gwinnett and metro Atlanta's rich cultural diversity.

On Saturday, the Atlanta International Night Market returns along with our new favorite tradition: the Glow in the Park lantern parade and a headliner concert to finish out the night!

As one of the largest events of the year, Glow in the Park wouldn't be possible without our wonderful volunteers! Vendor Load Out volunteers will assist the vendors at the close of the event with packing items curbside and assisting with cleaning up the park, returning items to storage, and removing event items.

We are looking for 20 people on Saturday from 9:00PM-12:00AM.

Please plan to carpool or take a free shuttle to the park as parking will be limited. The event will be outside on a warm and sunny day so plan t dress accordingly. If you would like credit hours for volunteering for school or service clubs, bring your service log.

Arrive at the park 15 minutes before your shift. Check in at the stage with Amy, Kim, or Rawls.

As one of the largest events of the year, Glow in the Park wouldn't be possible without our wonderful volunteers! As one of Parker's Helpers, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our mascot is safe as he traverses the park. It is very hard to see in the mascot costume, so these volunteers will act as Parker's guide. There is one shift available:

Saturday from 6:30-9:00PM

We are looking for 3 people for this shift.

Please plan to carpool or take a free shuttle to the park as parking will be limited. The event will be outside on a warm and sunny day, so plan to dress accordingly. If you would like credit hours for volunteering for school or service clubs, bring your service log.

Arrive at the park 15 minutes before your shift. Check-in at the stage with Amy, Kim, or Rawls.

As one of the largest events of the year, Glow in the Park wouldn't be possible without our wonderful volunteers! As an Illumination Lantern Helper, you will assist in the lantern area by keeping people off the lanterns, taking photos, and showing folks around the lantern exhibit.

There are three shifts available:

Friday from 5:00-10:00 PM

Saturday from 2:30-6:00PM

Saturday from 6:00-10:00 PM

We are looking for 8-12 people per shift.

Please plan to carpool or take a free shuttle to the park as parking will be limited. The event will be outside on a warm and sunny day so plan to dress accordingly. If you would like credit hours for volunteering for school or service clubs, bring your service log.

Plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to your shift and check in at the stage with any Suwanee Employee and ask for Amy, Kim, or Rawls. We will then direct you to the lantern tent!

As one of the largest events of the year, Glow in the Park wouldn't be possible without our wonderful volunteers! As an Environmental Helper, you will assist with helping to keep the park clean by emptying trash and supporting Event Staff. There are three shifts available:

Friday from 5:00-10:00PM

Saturday from 2:00-6:00PM

Saturday from 6:00-10:00PM

We are looking for 10 people per shift.

The Suwanee Fest Committee plans our biggest event of the year! This committee meets monthly on Monday evenings to assist in planning all aspects of the annual fall festival, from the parade and entertainment to vendors and transportation.

The appointed and Managing Board for Harvest Farm is responsible for maintenance and operation of Suwanee's Community Garden. Must be a garden plot owner to participate. The board schedules work days and plans events at the garden and orchard. 

Offered twice annually, this eight-week, hands-on program offers participants a better understanding of the day-to-day operations of the Suwanee Police Department. There is an application process to participate and a background check is required. Want to be notified when it's time to apply for the next class? 

The Urban Redevelopment Agency (URA) encourages and facilitates the redevelopment of property included in the designated URA boundaries (downtown Suwanee). They are appointed by the City Council and meet annually.

Mission Statement To strengthen the economic viability of downtown Suwanee through economic development, aesthetic improvements, historic preservation, and promotion and image-building efforts. Its goal is to create and sustain a vibrant downtown in the heart of Suwanee.

Scouts who wish to make a lasting impression within the City of Suwanee must first meet with the Public Works department for project approval. 

The Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) is a five-member board comprised of volunteers appointed by Suwanee City Council. Its responsibilities include reviewing and issuing rulings related to variance requests and appeals of administrative decisions. Decisions of the ZBA are not subject to the review of City Council and may be appealed only to Gwinnett County Superior Court. The ZBA typically meets at 6:30 pm the third Tuesday of each month. If you would like to be notified when an opening occurs on this board, please let us know.

The Planning and Zoning Commission is a five-member board comprised of volunteers appointed by Suwanee City Council.  Its duties include hearing and making recommendations to City Council on rezoning and special use permit requests and reviewing amendments to the Zoning Ordinance; the commission also decides on proposed waivers to the city's development regulations and architectural standards. The board also may undertake special studies and reviews as directed by City Council. The Planning and Zoning Commission typically meets at 6:30 pm the first Tuesday of each month. There are requirements and interviews with council members to be appointed to the commission. If you would like to be notified of board openings, please let us know.
