OH, SNAP! Suwanee Fest is turning 40 and it’s time to make it totally tubular! Gag me with a spoon if you’re not excited because we’re throwing the ULTIMATE 80’s party, and it’s gonna be like, totally radical, dude!
We need over 300 rad volunteers to make this event a totally awesome success!
Event Details:
Set up begins on Friday afternoon.
The festival kicks off Saturday morning with the annual parade and continues through the weekend with entertainment, shopping, food, and fun for the whole family!
Volunteer Info:
Volunteers aged 14+ are welcome. Ages 11-13 can volunteer with a parent working alongside them.
Adults, join in the fun too! It's a great way to make new friends in your community!
All volunteers receive a complimentary Suwanee Fest-themed t-shirt – make sure your profile includes your t-shirt size!
Group Volunteering:
Have a large group (like 20 people from your youth group)? Use the "team" registration when you sign up. Great times for group volunteering include Friday set up and Sunday afternoon load out.
Logistics:
The event is held rain or shine.
For most shifts, parking is NOT available at Town Center Park. Use our 3 FREE off-site shuttle lots. Plan for 30-minute transport on the shuttles, or get dropped off. Lots are at:
305 Shawnee North (across from IHOP on L'ville-Suwanee Road)
Shadowbrook Church (across from the fire station)
Gwinnett Church (300 Peachtree Industrial Blvd.)
See suwaneefest.com for directions and details.
Dress for the weather (it’s usually hot), and wear closed-toed, comfortable shoes. Cold water will be provided for volunteers.
