Get ready for a roaring good time at Suwanee Fest!
Get ready to step into a world where the past comes roaring to life. Suwanee Fest is just around the corner, and we need brave and adventurous volunteers like YOU to help make this year’s event a dino-mite success.
Why Volunteer?
Volunteering at Suwanee Fest is an adventure of its own. You’ll meet new friends, help your community, and (for students) earn those all-important service hours. Plus, every volunteer receives a FREE, Jurassic-themed Suwanee Fest t-shirt.
What’s the Job?
Glad you asked! You’ll help bring our Apex parade to life. We need parade walkers, line-up assistants, volunteers to help escort children to their spots, and clean-up helpers once the parade is over. Think of it as guiding a herd—only this one is full of costumes, floats, and festival fun.
Where Do I Go?
Parade volunteers should head directly to the line-up site at the intersection of Stonecypher Road and Eva Kennedy Road. DO NOT report to Town Center Park. Plan to get dropped off or park at Suwanee First United Methodist Church on Scales Road NW.
Important Info:
Please review the attached waiver. By signing up, you agree to the Volunteer Waiver terms.
If you are under 18, make sure a parent or guardian reads the waiver too.
Volunteers ages 11 to 13 need a parent or guardian to volunteer with them. Sign up together for two slots.
High schoolers ages 14 to 17 can volunteer solo.
Dress Code and Prep:
Prepare for the great outdoors. This is a rain or shine event, so dress accordingly. Wear closed-toe shoes and consider bringing a hat and sunscreen. We’ll make sure you stay hydrated with plenty of cold water.
